Well, here I am.

well - I mean - that's not me - that's my home for the next few weeks. It's a Dodge Grand Caravan and "grand" is definitely the word. It's more comfortable than my house, that's for sure. And the seats fold flat right under the floor so the load bay is quite uncluttered. It's not 'arf impressive.

So we did our radio programmes on Tuesday and, loaded up like a Christmas Tree, I caught the train to Paris. And I made it to the hotel too without too many issues or delays, which surprised me.

The hotel is at the end of the flight path and so at about 05:00 the racket began. And what a racket it was as well.

I'm not going to talk about the airport save as to say that it's a good job that I only go on long-haul flights these days as it gives me a long time to calm down

and unwind after all of the stress, ready to start off again. But it was like long-haul Ryanair - we were crammed in loke sardines and the most comfortable part of the journey was the 5 minutes that I had on the Elsan. What didn't help matters was that one of the tracks that they played on the plane was Alison Krauss singing "paper airplane".

Now I have my MPV, I've shopped in Walmart, and had a good night's rest, I've a few people to see and a Canadian Tire store to visit. No idea whan I'll be online again. I'm not expecting any more internet access until I come back.

  1. Eric Hall was arrested late yesterday in the company of Mr S Moose. Apparently they have been discovered wandering the Canadian frontier in a Dodge Grand Caravan, causing havoc when Mr S Moose ran amok amongst the local wildlife. It is understood that the Mounties have the pair incarcerated in a secret location for interrogation before transporting them to be imprisoned at the secret interrogation centre at 1200 Vanier Parkway
